September is Life Insurance Awareness Month. It is this time of year when our John Bailey Insurance Agency team reaches out to our current and future clients to start a conversation about life insurance. This year we want to emphasize life is a journey – will you #TakeThePledge?
So why have Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM)?
If you follow the news, whether in your local or national newspapers or on social media, then there is a good chance you’ve seen some of the most recent headlines.
- “Does it make sense to have more than one life insurance policy?” – Coloradoan, September 16, 2018
- “Life Insurance: What Everyone Needs to Know” – The Herald, September 17, 2018
- “Younger workers and women are more likely to be worried about life insurance, less likely to understand its financial benefits…” – The Tullahoma Tennessee News, September 4, 2018
Life Insurance Awareness Month is designed to remind all of us that life insurance should be part of our plan as we move through our journey. It is a time to consider life insurance, review your current policies and make sure that life insurance is a strategic part of your financial plan. And to this end, the Life Insurance and Market Research Association (LIMRA) adds its support to LIAM by providing the 2018 Fact Sheet, and we invite you to take five minutes to review these facts.
Too busy to think about Life Insurance?
It’s true. Most of us are busy attending school, working a job, running a business, raising our children, managing our home…and just trying to get from one day to the next. Many of us get our quick news by watching videos…on our smartphones, iPads, laptops or while paging through our social media accounts. So, today we would like to share a helpful video from the Insurance Information Institute (III) that is, as they say, “easy-to-follow” and may provide answers to some of your questions: “The i’s on insurance: Life Insurance.”
If you are having trouble viewing the video, you can see it here.
John Bailey Insurance Agency invites you to #TakeThePledge
According to the non-profit organization Life Happens, “True financial fitness isn’t a dream; it’s achievable by making one good decision followed by another, including putting life insurance in place.” They want you to share the message by using their hashtag #TakeThePledge.
Our team would like to encourage you visit some of our previously published posts. Each one deals with life insurance and offers concise information for you to renew or start your conversation with us to “Insure a great life.”
