Wanted to give a hats off to the Dirty Guvs for winning the Metro Pulse’s Best Band of Knoxville competition.  I’ve been to several of their shows, and every single time they absolutely bring the house down.  From the ragin’ voice of front man James Trimble to the bangin’ of Bongos from Mitch “bonecrusher” Stewart,  you can always count on a heck of a night when you go see the Guv’s.  They will be opening for Robert Earl Keen at Sundown in the City on May 29th. Be sure to go experience the danceable, raw-boned, southern, good-times rock.
